Q. What is KURA ONE®?

A. KURA ONE® is an experience brand that uses sake as the gateway to becoming captivated by untold Japan. Through small-format sake, comparative tastings, pairings, gifts, and events, we share the distinct character expressed through each region’s water, rice, breweries, and food culture.

Q. What is KURA ONE® First Release?

A. KURA ONE® Sake First Release is a series of 200mL canned sake that lets you compare the character created by each region’s water, rice, and brewery in a small format. By starting with place names and comparing flavors, you can enjoy discovering parts of Japan you never knew.

Q. What is the Re:Local Series?

A. The Re:Local Series was created from a simple idea: to communicate the character of each region through the flavor of sake. Its basic requirements are local rice, local water, and an original sake created with a local brewery.

Q. Can I choose the sake freely?

A. Yes. For the 3-can, 6-can, and 21-can selectable sets, you can freely combine the three available selections up to the total number of cans. You do not have to order two of each. The three selections in the KURA ONE® Sake First Release are fixed and cannot be changed.

Q. Why did you choose a 200mL can?

A. To make it easier to compare different sake in smaller amounts. The cans are easy to chill, easy to carry, and resistant to breakage, making them convenient for home enjoyment, gifts, and events.

Q. Is it really possible for nama sake to be distributed at room temperature?

A. Yes. KURA ONE® nama sake is not heat-pasteurized. Instead, microorganisms that can cause spoilage are removed through filtration and the filling expertise of a partner with more than 50 years of experience.
